Made of Wood Show 2010

All Things Wood Weekend

Please join us on this, the last weekend of the Made of Wood Show for this year.

In the Village of Erin we are presenting the practical side of woodworking: carving, wood turning, sawmilling, demonstrations and more. These events will be at the Erin Fair Grounds(north end of the downton - look for our sign).

 

 





The People's Choice Award

This award will be presented on Sunday afternoon to the piece with the most votes. Ballots are available in all the stores where work from the show is displayed, The Paul Morin Gallery and the Burdette Gallery. The Deadline for voting is 3pm on Saturday afternoon.

There will be a wood engraving demonstrations at Renaissance (60 Main Street) on Saturday & Sunday from 10am to 4pm. Two of the Juried Show's finalists, master wood engravers Wesley Bates and Jim Westergard will be on hand to show you how it is done. They will be joined by Rosemary Kilbourn.

The majority of the work in the Juried Show will be in the store fronts on the main street of Erin and in the Paul Morin Gallery (110 Main Street).
